'He can handle the pressure of playing for a big club like Manchester United... it would be a brilliant move': Jamie Redknapp backs Jadon Sancho to make £100m switch and claims he will be 'in the top five players in the world'

Jamie Redknapp believes Jadon Sancho would be making a 'brilliant move' if he joins Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United revolution this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund star is United's top transfer target and the club are said to be convinced they have got their man after holding secret talks, according to The Sun.
ChelseaManchester City and Real Madrid are among the European giants to have been linked with Sancho, but Redknapp insists that a move to Old Trafford would suit the England winger perfectly.

The former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder also claimed that the 20-year-old, who is likely to cost £100million, will develop into one of the world's best players.
Speaking on The Football Show on Sky Sports News, Redknapp said: 'We are talking about an incredible talent, someone that has taken some really good decisions, went abroad and who took a risk to a certain extent.
'It paid off, playing amazing football in the Champions League and for his country now. His next move is so important, he has to make sure he gets in the team and plays regularly.
'He is such an amazing talent, one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Top five in the world in a few years, he has that much ability.

'If he goes to United, everyone knows the pressure of playing for a big club but he looks like he can handle the pressure and it would be a brilliant move if he goes there.
'In the Premier League, he is the one player I’d love to see right now.'
On Sunday, The Sun claimed that United believe they have won the race to sign Sancho and have 'agreed almost every detail of a move to Old Trafford'.
It was reported that the length of Sancho's contract, his salary, bonuses and buyout clause have been sorted, although United still need to agree a fee with Dortmund.
Graeme Souness, however, believes that United are unlikely to to have made that much progress on a deal for the former Manchester City starlet.
'I don’t see it, unless the whole world has changed,' he told The Football Show.

'You don’t get into personal terms, length of contracts, buyout clauses, until the clubs have decided on a fee. The first thing is the two clubs deciding on a fee. The rest comes second, so I'm not sure that is correct.
'If you are Man United and you’re doing that without a deal done with Dortmund, you will have your trousers taken down. They know the strength of your offer, that you’re up for it. You’re taking away any negotiating power if you go down that road.
'You could do it behind everyone’s back but the fact is in the public domain. Someone from Dortmund is saying the player has spoken to United. I don’t see that being a goer.
'Maybe the transfer may happen but I don’t see it happening in that chronological way. It has to be two clubs then you have to get down to the nitty-gritty.'
